Victoria Nieves

Hi, I’m Victoria, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be serving as the Youth and Family Ministries Director for both Christ Lutheran and St. Mark’s!

I grew up in the NYC area in a blended Colombian and Puerto Rican family, and I’m now living in La Habra while finishing my degree in Bible, Theology, and Ministry at Biola University. I’m also part of the Torrey Honors Institute, a classical literature and great books program in the socratic style of learning.

Over the past few years, I’ve led Bible studies for high school and college students, taught Sunday School, and served as a missionary teacher in Greece working with refugee youth. God has given me a heart for creating spaces where students and families feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow in faith and ask questions about the Bible. I hope to not only cherish the current youth but to help foster its growth in my time here.

I’m looking forward to getting to know you all, walking alongside your families, and seeing how God continues to work in and through this community. And if you ever want to chat about life, ministry, or meet my dog, I’m always happy to connect!
